Job summary

The company in Chicago seeks an Implementation Engineer to manage new implementations and enhancements for our merchant portfolio. You will guide technical integrations, solve complex problems, and lead pre-sales discussions with the largest merchants globally.

Based in Chicago, you will work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure smooth design, development, testing, and launch phases of integrations with our platform.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience integrating and/or providing technical consultation when integrating with Web APIs.
• Experience working with distributed systems, database design and systems architecture.
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable leading meetings with high level decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Use development and programming expertise to create scalable and robust merchant integrations.
• Serve as consultative partner in verticals like e-commerce, POS, and multi-platforms.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Managers, Product, and Engineering to deliver seamless merchant experiences.
• Oversee high-quality project delivery and ensure technical integrity of merchant integrations.
• Provide consultation on optimizing payment solutions and onboarding with Developers and Product Managers.
