Job summary

athenahealth is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide two software teams focused on patient payment workflows. This hybrid role is based in Boston, MA, offering influence on product delivery, team growth, and technical execution across monolith and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with product, design, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver outcomes, drive reliability, and improve customer experience. 5+ years in leadership and payment-processing domain experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering leadership delivering product outcomes.
• Experience with payment processing or real-time systems is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with product, design, QA and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead two engineering teams delivering payment-related features and platform improvements.
• Guide tech decisions across monolith and cloud environments.
