Hadrian is building autonomous factories and reindustrializing America. The role leads a team of ML engineering and full-stack engineers focused on making engineering data legible for automation, including data ingestion, annotation tooling, and synthetic data strategies.

You will hire, mentor, and grow a world-class team while staying close to technical work to guide direction and staffing decisions, unblocking critical paths as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of engineering management experience leading ML teams in production.
• Strong judgment on organizational design: headcount planning and prioritization.
• Experience shipping models to production and maintaining model health.

Responsibilities

• Own the people leadership of your engineers: hiring, onboarding, mentorship, and performance.
• Stay hands-on in design reviews and contribute to the work when needed.
• Set technical direction and investment in headcount with engineers and tech leads.
• Build and maintain annotation tooling and data augmentation strategies.
• Ensure engineers are engaged, growing, and able to do their best work.
