Job summary

PB Fasteners in Gardena, CA, is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee product engineering and ensure manufacturing processes meet end customer requirements. You will direct development projects for new products and optimized processes, providing technical authority during reviews and supporting sustaining/manufacturing engineering.

The role requires 6+ years of manufacturing experience (aerospace/forging/machining preferred) and supervisory skills, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• S. Degree in Engineering (mechanical preferred).
• 6+ years manufacturing experience (aerospace/forging/machining preferred).
• Supervisory experience leading people.
• Performance management skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of organization.
• Advanced use of MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Quality focused & production driven.

Responsibilities

• Oversees product engineering and ensures processes meet customer requirements.
• Directs development/qualification projects for new or improved processes.
• Provides technical authority during engineering reviews and supports sustaining/manufacturing engineering.
• Manages engineering staff and resources to support operations.
• Develops cost-effective production processes and layouts.
• Drives Six Sigma process control and variance reduction.
• Communicates technical information and supports quality assurance.
• Participates in capital budgeting for equipment and training.
