Job summary

Allfast Fastening Systems LLC in City of Industry, CA seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to drive R&D, design for manufacturing, and continuous improvement. You will oversee manufacturing processes for new products and optimize existing lines for efficiency and quality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2–8 years of related experience, with Solidworks and ERP proficiency. On-site work five days a week in a fast-paced aerospace component environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required with related experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with research and development in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Proven experience in design for manufacturing and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs research and development activities to introduce new products for manufacture.
• Develops methods for monitoring projects and records expenditures and findings.
• Identifies opportunities for fastener products addressing unmet needs and market share.
• Directs manufacturing processes for new products and continuous improvements.
• Directs preparation of product layouts, drawings and schematics.
• Plans experimental test programs and analyzes results against specs.
