Job summary

Kimball Solutions in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead process engineering, assembly/NPI engineering, and automation engineering. This role reports to the General Manager and drives continuous improvements across the engineering organization using lean, Six Sigma, and structured project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering leadership in a highly regulated environment.
• Excellent knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma with extensive experience implementing it in manufacturing and engineering settings.
• Strong understanding of ERP, production scheduling, cycle times, takt times, touch times, yields, kanbans, and their impact on engineering operations.
• Mastery of Microsoft products, including MS Project and project planning.

• Develop, implement, and maximize the utilization of people, processes, systems, software, and technology to achieve continuous, measurable improvements across the engineering organization.
• Mold process engineering, assembly/NPI engineering, and automation engineering.
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineering staff to achieve high performance.
