Job summary

Silk Road Technologies Canada seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and optimize engineering operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and timely delivery for internal and external customers.

You will supervise engineering staff, drive lean initiatives, manage budgets, and coordinate with suppliers and customers to meet strategic goals while upholding OSHA and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent; Master's preferred.
• Minimum eight years in automotive/metals/assembly environments; two years in management.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities and oversee department goals.
• Provide input into corporate and department strategic plans and budgets.
• Interface with customers and suppliers to support cost reductions and quality improvements.
• Ensure safety and training standards across the team; enforce policies and procedures.
