Job summary

Silk Road Technologies Canada is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate activities of production areas to maximize efficiency and profit, either personally or through coordinators.

The role requires leading production personnel, controlling overtime and expenses, enforcing safety, and driving continuous improvement in line with MIOSHA standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 5+ years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Production Coordinators to meet customer, plant and management requirements.
• Supervise production personnel to meet customer, plant and management requirements.
• Oversee plant performance for production and quality standards.
• Control overtime, premium freight and repair expenses.
• Provide leadership and training to accomplish company goals.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Enforce MIOSHA safety regulations.
