Job summary

Sigma Design Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the technical execution of product development programs within a prototype and NPI environment.

You will head the Engineering organization, ensuring quality, technical decisions, validation strategy, manufacturing readiness, and on-time delivery from concept through production transfer. This role serves as the primary technical authority to customer stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop primarily Mechanical, Process, and Test Engineers.
• Establish technical standards, engineering best practices, and development methodologies.
• Drive technical excellence, innovation, and engineering accountability.
• Manage engineering performance, development plans, and succession planning.
• Build technical capabilities aligned to future customer and business needs.
• Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.
