Job summary

Sigma Design is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and mentor mechanical, process, and test engineers in a hands-on, client-focused environment. The role emphasizes establishing standards, driving technical excellence, and guiding NPI programs from concept through manufacturing readiness.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of leadership experience in engineering, strong communication skills, and proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions on time in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience with DFM, DFA, and DFT initiatives.
• Ability to work in a high pressure environment at a client site.
• Strong written and verbal English language communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to other facilities, clients, or suppliers as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop Mechanical, Process, and Test Engineers.
• Establish technical standards and engineering best practices.
• Drive technical excellence, innovation, and accountability.
• Manage engineering performance and succession planning.
