LACO Technologies in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our multidisciplinary engineering team and drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence. You will mentor engineers, improve workflows, and ensure successful execution of complex projects across mechanical, controls, and software disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years in industrial equipment and 5+ years in engineering leadership, with a track record of coaching and developing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of engineering experience in industrial equipment, automation, or vacuum/leak testing systems.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership across multiple experience levels.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong project leadership from concept to production.
• Experience coaching and developing technical talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team of Mechanical and Controls Engineers.
• Improve workflow efficiency, project execution, and resource planning with clear accountability.
• Oversee customer-specific product design from concept through release and implementation.
• Provide systems-level leadership across mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and vacuum technologies.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, Service, and Leadership.
• Participate in design reviews and project planning to ensure successful execution.
• Support long-term engineering strategy and technology road maps.
