You will drive project execution from concept through commissioning while maintaining strong customer communications and cross-functional collaboration with controls, manufacturing, and sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years design experience in custom equipment design and manufacturing.
• 5+ years of management experience leading mechanical engineers and designers.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or Inventor with BOM release practices.
• Ability to travel 15-30%, including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop mechanical engineers and designers, setting priorities and performance standards.
• Manage workload, schedules, resources, and project priorities for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Lead design reviews for custom equipment and integrated systems with customer needs in mind.
• Review drawings, engineering calculations, BOMs, and other deliverables.
• Ensure designs meet specs, safety, manufacturability, and cost targets throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead projects from concept through installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate with Controls, Manufacturing, Purchasing, PM, Sales, Service, and Applications Engineering.
• Serve as a primary technical contact for customers and suppliers.
• Support Sales and Applications Engineering with concepts and proposals.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation plans.
