LACO Technologies Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our multidisciplinary engineering team in Salt Lake City, Utah, driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence. This role focuses on developing engineers, improving workflows, and delivering complex customer-driven projects.

You will mentor engineers, oversee design and systems integration, and partner with manufacturing, quality, and leadership to deliver high-performance vacuum and leak testing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering.
• 15+ years in industrial equipment/automation or vacuum systems.
• 5+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proven track record moving products from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of mechanical and controls engineers.
• Improve workflow efficiency, project execution, and resource planning.
• Oversee customer-specific design activities from concept to manufacturing release.
• Provide systems-level leadership across mechanical, electrical, controls, software.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, Service, and executives.
