LINQ seeks an Engineering Manager to lead one or more engineering teams delivering high-quality software across our product platform. You’ll partner with the Director of Engineering, senior engineers, and Product leadership to ship reliable, data-accurate solutions and drive delivery across offshore and nearshore pods.

You’ll spend about 80% of your time on people leadership—coaching, performance reviews, and growth plans—while the rest focuses on architecture reviews, code reviews, and solving

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing software teams.
• Experience with mixed FTE & contractors.
• Strong .NET/C# and ASP.NET background.
• Legacy VB with modernization.
• Angular frontend familiarity.
• Observability and monitoring practices.
• Evidence-based management (DORA/SPACE).
• AWS, ECS/EKS, serverless, databases.
• Infrastructure modernization leadership.
• AI tooling coaching (Claude Code/Cursor).
• Coaching and Agile/DevOps/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers across blended FTE and contractor model; conduct 1:1s and growth plans.
• Own delivery outcomes for your team's product area; partner with Product to shape work and ensure quality.
• Shape and execute the technical roadmap with Director of Engineering; balance new features and reliability.
• Maintain operational excellence: reliability, data integrity, and managing third-party dependencies.
• Raise hiring bar; own sourcing, interview calibration, and closing talent.
• Contribute to ADRs, design reviews, and code reviews with deep technical input.
• Drive testing discipline, CI/CD, DORA metrics, incident response.
• Enable AI-assisted development tooling responsibly within the team.
• Foster a culture where code is changed confidently and communication is clear about roadmaps and risks.
