Job summary

MaintainX is seeking an Engineering Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area to lead one of several engineering teams. You will turn roadmaps into shipped, reliable software, managing 5 to 6 developers, owning delivery, quality, and day-to-day priorities.

You will partner with Product Managers and Designers to scope, plan, and deliver with a high bar for reliability, coach engineers, and advocate for CI/CD and observability across your systems. This is a hybrid role with flexible locations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development management experience.
• Strong foundation in system design and CS fundamentals.
• Experience with Jira and project management.
• Strong hiring and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication with engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 5 to 6 developers and own delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to plan work.
• Coach team members to grow skills and chart career paths.
• Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback.
• Champion CI/CD, code quality and observability.
