Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for a Buffalo, NY‑based manufacturer of temperature sensors, seals, and harness assemblies. You will lead product design engineering and guide technical decisions from concept through production release.

You will develop engineers, ensure product quality within schedule, collaborate with sales and manufacturing, and build robust engineering processes to sustain project delivery and performance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Progressive product design engineering experience with complex decisions.
• Engineering leadership experience managing people and multiple projects.
• Strong command of mechanical design, CAD, GD&T, materials, and verification.
• Ability to lead detailed design reviews and guide engineers.
• Clear communication with customers, commercial teams, manufacturing, and leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the engineering team and allocate resources.
• Provide hands-on technical direction for product architecture and design.
• Lead design reviews and resolve technical risks.
• Translate performance and interface requirements into specs.
• Oversee drawings, BOMs, calculations, and controlled releases.
• Collaborate with sales on technical feasibility and proposals.
• Partner with manufacturing and quality to improve manufacturability.
• Coach engineers and establish design and project management standards.
