Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. in New York is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead cross-functional teams delivering scalable software platforms.

You will drive end-to-end technical planning, translate product requirements into EPICs and stories, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery while maintaining engineering standards. You will partner with Product, UX, and QA to refine backlogs, orchestrate sprint execution, mentor engineers, and steward system reliability, observability, and incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 8–10 years of software development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software delivery lifecycle.
• Proven ability to translate product requirements into EPICs and user stories.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across cross-functional teams and ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Translate requirements into EPICs and technical user stories; refine backlog with Product, UX, and Engineers.
• Plan and drive sprint execution with clear goals and milestones.
• Mentor engineers, enforce best practices, and improve team velocity and delivery predictability.
• Maintain observability, SLIs/SLOs, and incident response across services.
