Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience delivering high-volume web applications used by external customers.
• Working knowledge of relational database technologies and SQL development.
• Experience contributing to solution architecture and technical design decisions.
• Understanding of distributed computing, with growth, resilience, and service continuity requirements.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technical specialists to clarify user challenges and turn them into practical technology solutions.
• Guide modernization of Java-based web services, with emphasis on security.
• Build reliable applications supporting external APIs, single-page interfaces, hybrid cloud environments, and proactive monitoring.
• Evaluate existing platforms and propose improvements for long-term stability and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineers to shape architectural decisions and future directions of the application portfolio.
• Contribute to automated delivery processes and maintain a fast, dependable software release cycle.
