Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Injection Molding plant in the United States. You will supervise a diverse engineering team, drive project execution, and use data-driven methods to improve production efficiency, safety, and quality.

You will lead safety culture, guide engineers, coordinate with other managers, review capital budgets, and manage outside contractors and vendors to deliver plant renovations, cost savings, and long-term performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Industrial Maintenance/Engineering.
• Detail-oriented with root-cause investigation and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Instill a positive safety culture for all team members and contractors.
• Lead and develop the Engineering Team with guidance and development.
• Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to set priorities across teams.
• Assess cost effectiveness and implement safety/efficiency improvements.
• Oversee plant renovations and expansions with external vendors.
• Track cost savings and manage capital budget.
• Perform annual performance evaluations.
• Respond to customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
