Job summary

ALSAC seeks an Engineering Manager of Information Architecture to define and govern enterprise information across platforms. You will lead teams, champion best practices, and partner with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable data solutions that advance donor engagement and analytics.

You will drive architecture strategy, mentor engineers, and coordinate with ITS departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and security standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in information or data architecture, including strategy and delivery oversight.
• Experience with data modeling, metadata, taxonomy, labeling, and MDM.
• Exposure to Data Lake/Warehouse design and integration architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud, Hadoop, NoSQL, and data virtualization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across levels.

Responsibilities

• Leads information architecture efforts and governs architecture practices.
• Collaborates with business and IT to align data strategies with objectives.
• Oversees data governance, security, and scalable solution delivery.
• Mentors teams and drives performance through coaching and reviews.
• Manages vendor relationships and cross-functional programs.
