Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Manager Engineering 2 Support Equipment. The role requires leading a team of design engineers to develop and maintain support equipment on-site with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 9+ years engineering experience, or advanced degrees with fewer years.
• Experience in design engineering.
• Active Secret clearance or eligibility.
• Ability to obtain SAP access (PAR).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP PARs post-employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design engineers creating/identifying/maintaining support equipment.
• Guide engineers in career development and gain skills critical to success.
• Interact with leadership and customer stakeholders to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness of equipment processes.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.
