U.S. Bank is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide a team responsible for Hogan-based core banking applications.

You will drive development, integration, and production support across the Hogan ecosystem, partnering with business leaders to translate banking requirements into scalable technical solutions. The role emphasizes establishing best practices, ensuring system reliability, and leading modernization efforts in a regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Six to eight years of relevant technical experience.
• Five or more years of leading a software engineering team.
• Experience with Hogan core banking environment.
• Knowledge of Hogan core banking systems, deposits, lending, payments, and financial services technology.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and software engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers responsible for Hogan-based core banking applications.
• Drive the execution of development, enhancement, integration, and production support across Hogan ecosystem.
• Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to translate banking requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Establish engineering best practices, development standards, and quality controls.
• Oversee application stability, incident management, and continuous service improvement for banking platforms.
• Lead modernization efforts to improve architecture, automation, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams.
• Manage project delivery, resource planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
