Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced engineering leader to oversee a team responsible for Hogan-based core banking applications.

You will drive design, delivery, support, and modernization initiatives across the Hogan ecosystem. Partner with business leaders and tech stakeholders to translate banking requirements into scalable solutions, establish best practices, ensure stability, and guide modernization and platform transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Six to eight years of relevant technical experience.
• Five or more years of leading a software engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers responsible for Hogan-based core banking applications.
• Drive application development, enhancement, integration, and production support across Hogan ecosystem.
• Partner with business leaders to translate banking requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Establish engineering best practices, development standards, and quality controls.
• Oversee stability, incident management, and continuous service improvement for banking platforms.
• Lead modernization efforts and platform transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with enterprise architecture, security, and vendor teams to support objectives.
• Manage project delivery, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
