Job summary

ePropelled is seeking a hands-on Director of Engineering in Lowell, MA to lead development of high-power motor controllers, regulators, and power supplies from concept through manufacturing. You will drive product architecture, plan projects, manage a team, and ensure design for EMI/EMI, thermal management, and reliability.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, has 5+ years in analog/digital power electronics, and demonstrates strong communication and project leadership

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ design experience in analogue/digital electronics for power systems.
• Experience designing high power motor controllers, power regulators, and power converters.
• Familiarity with RS232, RS485, CAN, ModBus, USB, Ethernet, I2C, Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth.
• Experience developing project plans, schedules and budgets for complex programs.
• Experience delivering products to manufacturing on time and within budget.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI and mitigation through design.

• Manage product development from concept to manufacturing release.
• Create and maintain technical docs, specs, and test reports.
• Lead design reviews and document results throughout the process.
• Plan project plans, schedules, and budgets.
