Qualifications

• Requires a formal degree in electrical engineering (BSEE/MSEE or PhD with experience).
• Strong understanding of power converter topologies and the ability to assess tradeoffs.
• Experience with power semiconductors (Si/SiC/GaN), gate drive design, and analog/digital support circuits.
• Experience with power converter filters including magnetics and capacitors.
• Understanding of semiconductor power dissipation and thermal design.
• Knowledge of PCB design and ability to guide reliable layouts.
• Ability to communicate with firmware teams and support test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for AC/DC power converters, SSCBs, and motor drives.
• Support all stages of product development from proposal to customer support.
• Collaborate with engineers across electrical, software, mechanical, and thermal disciplines.

Education

BSEE or MSEE

Ph.D. with 3-5 years

Power electronics knowledge
