Job summary

Basilone executive search is assisting in finding an Engineering Manager for our client in Lynchburg, Virginia. The role reports to the Director of Engineering and focuses on directing engineering resources to deliver high-quality, cost-effective products.

The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and ensure compliance with ASME codes. A BS in Mechanical Engineering and 3 years of managerial experience are required, with relocation support available.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10 years manufacturing experience in heat exchangers and HVAC components preferred.
• 3 years managerial experience. Virginia PE desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct engineering resources and coordinate activities for on-time processing of ETO orders.
• Manage and improve product maintenance, enhancements and testing.
• Ensure compliance with ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code Sections III, VIII.
• Collaborate with Director of Engineering on strategy and policy changes.
• Mentor staff and foster a high-performing team.
• Maintain ISO 9001:2008 and Nuclear Quality program adherence.
