Job summary

Ilocatum in Lynchburg, VA seeks an Engineering Manager to partner with the Director of Engineering, directing engineering resources for on-time processing of ETO orders and product maintenance. The role requires ensuring quality and compliance with ASME codes and ISO standards while driving continuous improvements.

The position offers a path to promotion and relocation support, with a salary range of $140,000–$160,000 plus STI and stock options. A Virginia PE is desirable.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 3 years managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage departmental workflow to achieve on-time delivery and KPI targets.
• Maintain up-to-date project and sales order tracking systems.
• Oversee product maintenance, enhancement and testing per market needs.
• Disposition RMAs in a timely and effective manner.
• Coordinate resources to support QA and Shop Floor.
• Develop and implement a BOM strategy.
• Manage welding/brazing activities including procedures, approvals and certifications.
• Review and approve engineering documents and manage third-party listings.
