Job summary

Intelerad is seeking a Manager of Software Development to lead a team delivering medical imaging software that directly impacts patient care. You will balance technical leadership with people management, guiding delivery to meet HIPAA/FDA-like requirements and customer expectations.

You will partner with Product Management, QA, and other R&D teams to drive feature delivery, adopt strong engineering practices, and foster innovation through AI-assisted development, in a regulated healthcare

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of software development with at least 2 years in leadership or team lead capacity.
Experience leading delivery teams and improving throughput or cycle time.
Experience leading combined development and QA teams within an Agile framework.
Experience coaching developers and enabling career growth.

Responsibilities

Leads and develops a software development team with focus on code quality, testing, and documentation.
Drives technical execution and delivery of software features aligned with roadmaps and regulatory requirements.
Collaborates with Product Management, QA, and other teams to ensure clear requirements and timely delivery.
Ensures operational excellence and regulatory compliance for production systems with robust processes.
Contributes to technical strategy and evaluates emerging technologies, including AI tooling, to improve processes.
