Job summary

Robinhood is seeking an engineering leader for the Credit Cards & Banking team within Money Engineering. This role oversees end-to-end customer experiences across card and banking products, spanning mobile, frontend, backend, and infrastructure.

You will set direction, drive architecture, mentor engineers, and partner with product and design to deliver high-impact experiences while maintaining quality, reliability, and fast delivery across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of engineering team management
• Experience leading customer-facing products at scale
• Strong architectural judgment and decision-making
• Experience coaching and developing engineers

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and support a team of software engineers on Robinhood’s Credit Cards & Banking products.
• Set clear direction for the team across execution, design, and people development.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define roadmaps and deliver high-impact experiences.
• Drive architecture, execution, and operational excellence for reliable, scalable systems.
• Guide engineering decisions across product surfaces, backend services, and platform dependencies.
• Improve team health and effectiveness through planning, prioritization, feedback, and career development.
• Hire exceptional engineers and raise the bar on talent and craftsmanship.
• Help the team move quickly while maintaining high standards for quality and trust.
