Job summary

Venteon is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on the development and integration of exterior systems for automotive applications in Troy, Michigan. This full-time, in-office role requires hands-on leadership and a proven track record in engineering management.

You will oversee design and release activities, collaborate with quality, manufacturing and design teams, and drive system-level validation and verification to ensure successful program execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in engineering management.
• BSME or a similar field.
• Expertise in exterior components and related systems.
• 10+ years of design and release experience.
• Experience with DVP‑R, DFMEA, GD&T, DFM, DFA, and related engineering processes.
• Understanding of product and vehicle development cycles and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and integration of all exterior systems and sub-systems.
• Develop and execute design and integration plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as quality, manufacturing, and design.
• Oversee system-level validation and verification activities.
