Job summary

Aptiv PLC is seeking an Engineering Manager in Troy, Michigan to lead multiple engineering teams and ensure delivery of complex automotive software and hardware initiatives. You will drive execution, align roadmaps with business priorities, and develop leaders across engineering domains.

The role focuses on optimizing delivery performance, managing budgets and resources, and partnering with product groups to translate customer needs into actionable plans while maintaining high quality and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in a relevant field.
• Strong leadership and people management experience preferred.
• Experience with automotive software/hardware development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful execution of engineering commitments across assigned teams.
• Monitor delivery performance and quality via dashboards.
• Drive accountability and ensure teams meet commitments.
• Escalate and resolve issues impacting delivery, quality or customer satisfaction.
• Lead and develop Engineering Group Managers and team leaders.
