Job summary

Magna Exteriors in Lansing, MI is seeking a hands-on Program Engineer to drive launches from prototype through production. You will collaborate with customers, suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure APQP processes are followed, with a focus on on-time delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum three years of design or engineering experience in automotive exterior decorative trim.
• Experience in APQP, prototypes or pre-production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support program manager to ensure on-time launches through APQP.
• Lead prototype and pre-production build requirements for assigned programs.
• Interface with customers, suppliers and manufacturing teams.
• Create exploded views, BOM analysis and support ECN activities.
• Contribute to QA actions, gaging and tooling improvements.
