Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead several software teams delivering enterprise digital experiences for a healthcare insurance client. You will partner with Product, Design, and Architecture to shape roadmaps, drive execution, ensure quality, and guide teams through complex technical challenges.

The role emphasizes people leadership, mentoring engineers, and delivering high-impact results at scale. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in IT and 2+ years in management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT/development experience building enterprise frontend applications for member web apps.
• 2+ years in a management role leading software teams including FTEs and on-/near/shore consultants.
• 2+ years of experience with modern web/mobile/cloud architectures and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multiple engineering teams (8–20+ engineers).
• Partner with Product, Design, and Architecture to shape roadmaps and technical direction.
• Improve execution predictability, quality, and velocity across teams.
• Establish strong engineering practices (SDLC, testing, observability, reliability).
• Create a high-trust, accountable team culture and align with stakeholders.
• Hire, coach, and develop engineers; evaluate performance.
