Job summary

The HUB Engineering organization at NextEra Energy Resources seeks an Engineering Manager – EMS/SCADA & Controls to lead a team responsible for defining how HUBs are controlled, monitored, dispatched, and integrated across generation, storage, and grid interfaces.

This role provides both technical and people leadership, translating evolving commercial concepts into executable requirements, managing risks, and ensuring smooth transition to detailed design and execution in a complex energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 7+ years of engineering experience with leadership.
• Experience with EMS, SCADA, DCS, or related control systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads HUB EMS/SCADA & Controls engineering team.
• Defines interfaces between EMS, SCADA, plant controllers and other systems.
• Translates commercial concepts into clear engineering requirements.
• Coordinates across multiple stakeholders and execution teams.
