Job summary

RES is seeking an Industrial Controls and SCADA Engineer - Generation to serve as SME for generation controls across wind, solar, energy storage projects. You will develop control narratives, oversee design, FAT/SAT, and ensure ISO, NERC, and client requirements are met. Collaboration with engineering, procurement, and construction teams is expected.

Domestic and international travel may be required; strong communication and advanced knowledge of EMS, PPC, HMIs, and PLCs are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; 2+ years relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 4+ years IC&S experience required.
• Travel 5-15% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Generation Control system designs and documents.
• Provides technical oversight of consultants and subcontractors.
• Ensures compliance with NERC, ISO requirements and client specifications.
• Interfaces with project teams to execute Generation Controls activities.
