Job summary

NAES Corporation in Hubbard, TX is seeking an EMS Engineer to provide technical leadership for EMS, SCADA, and real-time monitoring across commissioning and operations at a modern power plant. The role requires coordinating with Operations, Controls and Electrical Engineering, OEMs, and contractors to ensure safe, reliable startup and continuous plant performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or related field.
Experience with EMS/SCADA in power facilities.
Knowledge of grid operations, BESS, and power generation.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for EMS, SCADA, and real-time monitoring systems to maximize plant reliability and performance.
Monitor real-time plant generation, power flows, and grid conditions to support safe operation.
Coordinate EMS integration with DCS, PLC, turbine controls, and BESS across systems.
Lead RCA investigations for EMS/SCADA issues and implement corrective actions.
Support commissioning activities (FAT/SAT) and system turnover.
Ensure safety, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and governance across EMS projects.
