Wayve is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Runtime Platform-focused team responsible for embedded real-time software across vehicle platforms. You will coach engineers, drive hiring and onboarding, and ensure the team delivers on latency, profiling, and observability goals.

You will collaborate with vehicle software, model development, hardware and OEM teams while shaping the technology roadmap and ensuring high‑quality, reliable delivery in a hybrid work model.

Formación

• Led a software or systems team to deliver results.
• Owned team roadmap, planning, prioritization, and quality of delivery.
• Experience architecting embedded software shipped in hardware products.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the team with regular feedback and performance reviews.
• Own hiring, onboarding, and team culture development.
• Drive execution by aligning roadmap with resources and ensuring reliability.
• Set technical direction with leads and stakeholders.
• Own runtime foundations: design, frameworks, middleware, IPC, performance and observability.
• Enable new vehicle platforms through incremental development while minimizing degradation.
• Strengthen quality with continuous integration and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the company.
• Escalate and mitigate risks and blockers to delivery.
