Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Developer Infrastructure team. You will nurture a strong team responsible for the processes and technologies supporting internal software development, prioritizing a complex roadmap and guiding engineers at all career stages.

You will help define priorities with Infrastructure leadership, ensure reliability of developer tools, and drive day-to-day execution while maintaining a healthy culture across the team.

Qualifications

• Empathy and understanding how to empower and support engineers to do their best work.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects from concept to delivery.
• Extensive experience with full developer toolchains in a modern SDLC including CI/CD, build automation and pipelines, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop engineers through feedback and coaching, setting context and expectations, and removing barriers to execution.
• Own the engineering roadmap for Developer Infrastructure and manage projects within that roadmap.
• Set priorities with Infrastructure leadership, determine delivery sequence, and drive day-to-day execution.
• Own the reliability of our Developer Infrastructure and ensure the team has the tools and processes to maintain uptime.
• Partner with engineering leaders to drive process changes to scale effectively.
• Maintain a healthy team culture with support from leadership and People team.
