GC-Squared Resources, LLC seeks an Engineering Manager / Professional Engineer for design-build and modular construction projects in Houston, TX. Lead the design team, coordinate with fabrication and field teams, and ensure designs are production-ready using DFMA principles.

The role requires a PE license with the ability to stamp plans across disciplines, strong communication with clients, and experience in fast-paced, hands-on environments collaborating with on-site and remote teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of engineering and design experience.
Experience within modular construction, manufacturing, steel fabrication, or design-build environments.
Professional Engineer (PE) with the ability to stamp engineering plans across multiple disciplines and states.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the design team with a build-first approach from initial development through production and fabrication.
Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to answer questions and resolve fabrication issues.
Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, fabrication, production, and operations teams.
Incorporate DFMA principles to ensure production-ready designs.
Manage client communication and meetings to align scope, schedule, and technical requirements.
