Job summary

Fluor Corporation in Houston seeks a Construction Manager II to oversee the execution of large-scale modularized downstream EPC projects. You will participate in FEED activities from the Houston office and support on-site construction in South Texas.

The role requires coordinating with project leadership, contractors, and clients to deliver safely, on schedule, and within budget. The candidate will apply Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) and WorkFace Planning (WFP), lead construction teams, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 16+ years of relevant experience or 20 years total with education.
• Experience with AWP and WFP required.
• Experience on large-scale modular downstream EPC projects desired.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead modular downstream EPC construction activities from FEED through completion.
• Oversee field construction in line with drawings, specs, schedules, budgets and safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Fluor systems, procedures and implementation plans.
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors for productivity and cost efficiency.
• Monitor progress, productivity, costs, and schedules; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide leadership to construction supervisors, safety and quality teams, and support staff.
• Promote a strong safety culture and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain quality through adherence to procedures and inspections.
• Serve as liaison between project teams, clients, subcontractors, and leadership.
• Support project controls, contract administration and resource management.
