Job summary

GTI Fabrication seeks an Engineering Manager to lead engineering execution across multiple concurrent programs in modular infrastructure, including energy and data‑center platforms. The role drives portfolio governance, alignment with PM and Design Leads, and reporting of health, risk, and capacity to Directors.

You will focus on developing engineers, managing capacity, and ensuring manufacturability, quality, and on‑time release across programs, with travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Systems, or related).
• 8–12+ years of design or systems engineering in heavy fabrication or modular systems.
• 3+ years of people leadership or technical team leadership experience.
• Experience with BESS enclosures, modular data centers, Gen Set platforms, or containerized infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering execution across multiple concurrent programs in BESS, modular data centers, Gen Set platforms, and related infrastructure.
• Partner with Project Managers to ensure engineering deliverables align with scope, milestones, and release criteria.
• Monitor engineering health across projects, identifying risks, constraints, and resource gaps early.
• Provide aggregated project status updates, risk summaries, and capacity insights to Directors.
• Ensure adherence to structured NPI phase gates and defined design maturity requirements prior to release.
