Twenty Technologies in Arlington, VA seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Data Marketplace Team. You will own the technical roadmap, mentor engineers across frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure, and collaborate with product managers to align capabilities with government buyer needs.

You will guide architecture, enforce security practices, and drive delivery while occasionally contributing hands-on to unblock progress. This role requires U.S. citizenship and is on-site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3–5 years of engineering management experience with a track record of delivery.
• Experience leading mixed-discipline teams (frontend/backend/infrastructure).
• Breadth across modern web platforms and backend services; ability to assess architecture and interfaces.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a cross-disciplinary team of engineers spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Own the technical roadmap; partner with the Product Manager on the product roadmap.
• Run projects end-to-end—set timelines, remove blockers, and keep delivery on track.
• Guide architecture to keep systems coherent, secure, and scalable.
• Establish engineering quality standards: design reviews, testing discipline, and security practices.
• Hire, onboard, and develop engineers; provide feedback and growth plans.
