Job summary

Twenty Technologies in Arlington, VA seeks a Head of Engineering to own the engineering organization for the flagship analyst product, spanning cloud and private cloud deployments. You will lead engineering managers and drive technical success across platform infra, enterprise capabilities, and customer features.

You will collaborate with product managers on roadmaps, partner with the VP of Engineering on org strategy, hire and mentor teams, and ensure security, quality, and reliability for

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in engineering management, including multiple teams.
• Owns engineering execution across cloud-hosted and customer environments.
• Experience translating requirements into technical roadmaps.
• Structured, high-signal hiring and team development.
• Eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering execution across the product: delivery, quality, and accountability.
• Lead, develop, and empower a set of engineering managers.
• Drive org design: team scope, sequencing, and capacity planning.
• Balance capacity and priorities across multiple teams.
• Own the technical roadmap in partnership with product management.
• Engage with senior ICs on architecture and designs for coherence.
• Oversee hiring across teams and ensure high-caliber candidates.
• Collaborate with VP Engineering on strategy and headcount planning.
• Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leadership.
• Ensure security, reliability, and operational discipline for mission-critical deployments.
