Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of electrical and mechanical engineers responsible for end-to-end product design and development of power distribution equipment. The role focuses on Low Voltage Switchgear and Power Distribution Cabinets, with hands-on guidance through testing to production.

You will mentor engineers, influence partners, and drive a technical roadmap while balancing cost, schedule, and safety. Travel ~20% domestically and abroad as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years engineering team management experience.
• 10+ years developing electrical and mechanical products from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Make high-judgment trade-offs between priorities and essential features.
• Drive strategic direction for the team's technical roadmap.
• Build and lead an engineering team with strong leadership and growth plans.
• Identify and mitigate risks and unblock teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with partner teams to implement regional processes and global best practices.
• Provide clear technical strategy and cross-organizational communication.
