Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an Engineering Manager to lead two squads delivering on a clear product roadmap. You will drive accountability, track progress, and ensure engineering is a strong voice in prioritization and tradeoffs.

You will collaborate with product, design, and GTM teams, guide architecture choices, and mentor senior engineers to deliver customer-facing software with high quality and speed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time engineering management experience leading teams of 6–8+ engineers.
• Track record of running high-execution teams with disciplined delivery practices.
• Experience managing and upleveling senior individual contributors.
• Product engineering background: led teams building customer-facing software.
• Technically engaged and comfortable in architecture discussions.
• Proven ability to shape product and long-term technical strategy with a PM.
• Strong decision maker balancing ambiguity, data, speed and quality.
• Uses AI in day-to-day work to amplify skills and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead two squads to deliver consistently against a clear product roadmap.
• Set a high-accountability delivery culture with weekly goals and reviews.
• Partner with product and design to shape priorities and tradeoffs.
• Guide architecture discussions and sound engineering decisions.
• Attract, grow, and retain engineers, mentoring senior ICs.
