Job summary

Bluebeam is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the development of a customer-facing web application and to directly manage a team of engineers. You will be the technical hands-on leader working with cross-functional teams across product and engineering and, at times, with other stakeholders across the organization.

We expect 12+ years in the industry with progressive leadership and at least 4+ years managing teams of six or more engineers.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in industry with progressive growth in responsibility.
• 4+ years leading teams of 6+ engineers.
• Experience on customer-facing web applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong leadership and emotional intelligence.
• Experience with Agile delivery and continuous improvement.
• Ability to influence architecture and mentor senior engineers.
• Experience with AI-assisted workflows and automation.
• Cloud hosting experience on AWS; infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Experience with microservices in containerized environments.

• Leads team(s) throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Recruits and mentors engineers; fosters professional growth.
• Sets and tracks goals and objectives for team members.
• Participates in expense approval and budget planning.
• Solves problems across technical and human factors domains.
• Presents facts to stakeholders to drive quality decisions.
• Communicates clearly and provides clarity across teams.
• Collaborates with architects, tech leads, PMs, engineers, and QA to deliver excellence.
• Participates in engineering on-call rotation.
