SeatGeek is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead one or more teams within Core Engineering, guiding them from a strong technical foundation to a resilient, user-focused product. You will shape roadmaps, improve developer experience, and drive faster, more reliable delivery across the company.

You will manage senior engineers, own a core engineering domain, conduct reviews, participate in recruiting, and provide ongoing career development support.

Qualifications

• Led lean, high-performing engineering teams to deliver impact.
• Shaped and communicated complex roadmaps for multi-team programs.
• Able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in building reliable, scalable distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of senior engineers and guide technical delivery.
• Own a core engineering domain and maintain operational excellence.
• Lead code and architecture reviews and mentor the team.
• Participate in recruiting and grow the engineering organization.
• Provide regular performance feedback and career development support.
• Collaborate with product and design to align roadmap with business goals.
• Decide build vs. buy with the team and manage vendors as needed.
• Communicate decisions across leadership and stakeholders.
