SeatGeek is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to guide the SupportX tech effort. You will shape the roadmap, lead Backend, Frontend and AI engineers, and collaborate with product and design to deliver best-in-class fan support tooling and workflows.

You’ll influence architectural decisions, drive recruiting, and ensure high standards of operational excellence while balancing build-vs-buy choices and vendor partnerships.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years as an engineer focused on coding.
• 2+ years as an engineering manager of productive teams.
• Proven track record shipping UX that elevates high-stakes customer experiences.
• Experience contributing to end-to-end customer support software in marketplace products (preferred).
• Led lean teams delivering impactful results.
• Fosters safe, collaborative, inclusive environments.
• Able to define architecture, team practices, and roadmap with minimal playbook.

Aufgaben

• Manage a team of Backend, Frontend and applied AI and automation engineers.
• Own the technical vision for core support tools and integrations (custom + SaaS).
• Rapidly build and iterate tools to boost fan experience and operational excellence.
• Perform code and architecture reviews; provide technical feedback.
• Provide regular performance feedback and career development support to reports.
• Collaborate with Technical and Product peers to align vision with goals.
• Select new vendors and make buy/build decisions with the team.
• Roll up sleeves to deliver features across the platform when needed.
• Communicate decisions to stakeholders and unblock blockers with leadership.
• Play an active role in recruiting and growing the engineering team.
