Job summary

General Motors seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the team building GM’s Commercial eCommerce platform. You will own the technical roadmap, translate business requirements into scalable systems, and oversee end-to-end delivery across monetization domains including catalog, billing, and payments.

You will partner with Product, Design, and Business to deliver foundational platform services, enabling GM product teams to launch and monetize rapidly.

Qualifications

• Domain Expertise: 8+ years of experience in software development, product building, or similar domains.
• Team Building: 3+ years in engineering management, recruiting top talent and fostering high-performing cultures.
• Execution Leadership: Lead teams through the SDLC with industry-standard best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a full-stack engineering team, providing mentorship and career growth.
• Drive the GM Commercial eCommerce roadmap and align with business goals.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to drive issue resolution and support design discussions.
• Be deeply involved technically with your team, shaping designs and reviewing code.
