Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of 10+ developers and analysts responsible for dealer platform technology products. You will own the product lifecycle from roadmap through development, release, and production support, with hands-on fluency across GCP, Java Springboot microservices, PostgreSQL/Oracle, React, and Angular.

You will translate dealer needs into clear roadmaps, guide technical trade-offs, and ensure high-quality delivery and platform stability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
7+ years of experience in product management or engineering leadership with 10+ direct reports.
Hands-on technical background with GCP, PostgreSQL/Oracle, Java Springboot microservices, React, and Angular.
Experience owning full product lifecycle delivery including production support.
Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to define priorities and manage expectations.
Strong people leadership, coaching, performance management, and team development.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 10+ developers and analysts, with performance coaching and career development.
Own end-to-end delivery including sprint planning, prioritization, and blockers removal.
Oversee production support, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
Set and monitor SLAs and platform reliability metrics.
Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement of delivery processes.
Own the product roadmap and architecture discussions, including API design and microservices.
